My Thoughts 3,

Aren’t we humans, just hedonistic creatures at the end? Why u ask, do I make such a conclusion. Because there is never real satisfaction in life. We live for pleasure. Every Intention, every decision, every move made with the purpose of obtaining pleasure. A beggar yearns for food, an average man yearns for riches and social status and some, love, once such level is reached, we yearn for more pleasures beyond the grounds of social, psychological and emotional pleasure, we yearn for ideo-pleasures.
Pleasures that are achieved when ones values or believes are recognized and acknowledged by people or by ourselves. (As an example, it is what the Prophet and Jesus and as a matter of fact Gandhi has achieved). Though we think that such ideas are for the betterment of society, the final purpose of such intentions is to push an idea (ones value and believe) across so it is acknowledged and accepted.
We live in a world that is of infinite possibilities and such a playground has brought about the notion of always asking:
What is out there?
What more is there?
Why should it stop here? why why why why why…and never believing that what we have is great enough. Never understanding until something happens and puts that perspective into our eyes and into our minds. Yet this thought never stays for long. It only lingers for maybe one month or two at most. By den we would have succumbed to the pressures of obtaining pleasure.

Even this I feel only serves as n example of how hedonistic we are. Understand that there is nothing you can do to label yourself an absolute altruist. Ever movement u make every decision you make it is to satisfy your own pleasures. The pleasure of knowing you did what u wanted to do. That pleasure is what labels your hedonistic quality.

“It wasn’t what I saw that stopped me Max. It’s what I didn’t see. What I didn’t see in all that sprawling of a city was an end…”

“Take a piano for example. Keys start and keys ends. You know there are 88 of them and nobody can tell u any different, they are not infinite, you are infinite and on those keys the music that you can make is infinite…..but when u roll out a keyboard of millions of keys, millions and billions of keys that never end and that’s the truth Max….that keyboard is infinite then on that keyboard theres no music you can play. You’re sitting on the wrong bench. That’s gods piano…” : Legend of 1900

When presented with infinite possibilities we are forced to choose and want better and since there is always something better we will end up wanting more and more in an infinite loop.
